I bought Mountain Lion on day of release, have the order number and after a bit of work even got it working! 😉
But now when I go into the App Store and look for it under Purchases I don't see any record of it. I see 'Lion' from my previous upgrade, but
nothing for Mountain Lion.
Is there anything I can do to get this listed? I'm hoping to redownload it so that I can make a bootable restore disk..

This is a long shot but have you clicked on the Account button and looked under "itunes in the cloud" Hidden Purchases?
If I go to the app store and click the Mountain Lion App is looks as if it is going to make me purchase it again.. I have the order number and emailed receipt.. I contacted Apple Support.. Kind of strange, but not a huge problem yet..
I found my Mountain Lion install so:
- Open App Store and on the right side you'll see "quick links" section
- From the quick links section click on the Account link and give out your details
- On the Account Information page I saw "hidden purchases/downloads/somethinglikethat"
- Unhide the Mt. Lion
- Off you go.
