Pitch Bend Wheel does not respond as it should

I have the latest GB and Mountain Lion.
Now I wanted to use the pitch bend wheel for a Guitar track, using the standard "Big Lead" guitar.

But although it sounds correct while recording (with the musical keyboard), the result is only half of the wanted pitch bend.
And even when I try to correct it manually in the pitch editor dialog, it does not change!

I tried also to use the pitch wheel in Absynth and FM8, but with the same result.like

Is there any workaround?

I would like to be able to set the range of the pitch bend wheel, too.
Another way, which could be helpful, if I could use the AUPitch plugin in conection with an automation track - I mean, to be able to control the input. Now it's quite useless in the automation track, because there is no way to get a desired value. 😟

By the way, the same problem (to get excact values) appears in the volume track of the master track!!!!

It would be a great help, when I could double click a dot to enter a value by numbers. 🙂
