iPad3 iCloud set-up
Must I setup an me.com account to use iCloud? I want to use gmail.com (my primary apple ID). And Not change to me.com for emailing. This must have been asked a million times, so tired of searching. thank you so much

You may need to set up such an address if you want to use certain services like notes, but you do not need to use it.
