I think it's an Apple domain name...

Quit the App Store if it's open.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar (top of your screen) click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy / paste: ~/Library/Cookies

Click Go the move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.

Relaunch the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In

It's for Xprotect (Apple's built in Anti-Malware Software)
