Q: My canon printer does not print since installing mountain lion. help

I recently upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion. In the process I lost my printer. I've tried to reinstall the printer with no luck. I keep getting saying connection method not supported. Help. I'm about to lose the little hair I have remaining.
