I recorded some old cassette tapes into Garageband via an audio cable with no edits as it was recording. After I finished recording I edited it with the Visual EQ
But when I export it: Share>Export Song to Disk none of my edits are there.. Can someone help?

What do you mean by "edits"? Can't you hear the effect on the exported audio file?
I'm taking the raw recording and adding a Visaul EQ to it to remove the background hiss as it's an old tape.

I just checked the audio of your video file - the only difference between the two is that the exported version sounds louder (probably because you checked the auto-normalization in GB's preferences). If you bring the audio captured from GB to the same level as the exported one, they sound exactly the same, with the same amount of noise.
