error -1712

error -1712

Every time when I try to launch an .app created with Automator I get the error -1712.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2011), OS X Mountain Lion

after many times of force quiting "Automator Launcher" it finally worked.

That error is an "operation could not be completed" error, probably a timeout.

You can adjust this.

I don't know your context but see this or thisfor others who have dealt with this.

You r last suggests that the timeout may be marginal for whatever you're doing.

it was caused by a mistake i made in ControllerMate, it tried to open 3 automator apps at once and 2 of them did exactly the opossite while the third tried to make those other 2 actions impossible. (previous movie, next movie and pause/play in VLC).
