I successfully created a 20 GB BootCamp partition on my MacBook Pro and installed Windows 7.

Then I realized (duh) that my Windows partition needed more space for applications.

Using BC, I uninstalled W7 and undid the original partition.

I started over, created a 90 GB BootCamp partition, and successfully installed Windows 7.

The problem/puzzle is that "Get Info" now tells me that the BOOTCAMP volume has

Capacity: 90.14 GB

Available: 50.56 GB

Used: 39,577,968,540 bytes (39.58 GB on disk)

Why does the new installation have more than twice the disk use of the first installation? I didn't write down the first install's disk use, but it wassuccessful in a 20 GB partition.

This is my first time using Boot Camp, and I thought I was following instructions.

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.4)
