hi there,

i just fix a Iphone 4G which start all of sudden it ask to activate the phone after restart the phone.

what i did was:

1. was restore the phone to factory default but that is no good at all.

2. try with jailbreak and i get the phone back again but with no wifi, no bluetooth and no network.

3. as i surfing net and get some info such as put the phone into the freezer! i was thinking that was nuts! but it do work after 2 hr in the freezer. wifi working and bluetooth as well. but no service appear which is very annoying. a phone which cant use the sim is useless... so i have to do some research and try.

(put into the freeze to fix the wifi problem 1st before proceed to the following step)

4. jailbreak the phone with redsnow 14b.2. then follow by restore with iphone factory restore.

5. after finish those open your itunes and see your iphone you should be able to see the iphone detail then it will ask you to restore from your backup. after finish restore.

6. it works perfectly!

7.Basically no wifi, no bluetooth and no network service - IS NOT HARDWARE ISSUE AND IT CAN BE SOLVE IF YOU DO SOME RESEARCH.

ok guys good luck to you all!!!!

iphone 4/4S

I have this problem myself but for me it's just that there's to many devises connected to our hub. This may or may not be your problem , if not it may just be the fact that its "peek time" or (if you don't have unlimited broadband like some people ) you may have used up all of your broadband for this month, but first I'd suggest that you reset your wifi hub.

If you get to worried about it go to your local computer shop to get them to look at it . (You may also want to try turning your ipad on and off a few times or taking it to a friends and asking to try using their wifi if that works then at least you know that it's not your ipad causing the problem) hope this helps. Let me know how it turns out (ya know just reply or tick the this helped button)

i tried many solutions for grayed out wifi (iphone 4s upgraded to 6.1) given in different forums. The freezer method (shut off phone, put in air tight plastic bag and put in the freezer for ten minutes, bring out wait till 5 minutes then restart) worked for me but only for about 10 hours. I will try that again. But please APPLE it is a software issue so resolve it soon.

GOOD NEWS (I hope) I have done all the so called resets, reinstalls and restarts. I have even put my 4s in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes then did a General>Reset>Reset Network Setting which was successful for 20 minutes or so. As soon as the 4s got back to room temperature, it would lose the wifi connection. This morning (9-29-13) I tried another suggestion which HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL for almost 12 hours now. After putting the 4s in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, I did another General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Then I went to my wifi and it connected. Once connected I tapped on the wifi connection and then I tapped on the small "i" within the circle to the right of my wifi connection. I scrolled down near the bottom of the page and tapped on Renew Lease. My 4s has been connecting perfectly. It stayed connect in my home. I went to Starbucks and it connected there with NO PROBLEM and then I went to another local location and it picked up wifi with no problem. Upon returning home it reconnected automatically to my home wifi. I hope this is not a short term fix. I will be thrilled if it is truly fixed.
