Ok. i left my ipod on last night by accident so it died. well i woke up this morning and tried to charge it but it told me to go to itunes with the USB. so i did but when i plugged it up and connected to itunes it said there was an error. Error 1619. it says my ipod is connected but it wont connect. will someone help and explain what i should do to fix this? i wish to use my ipod again.?

ok how do you know if i have a usb 2.0 because this is an ipod not iphone is there a difference
No difference for this problem. Newer computer will have USB 2
well two more question how do i re-install itunes on computer and if i re-install do i lose all my song that are downloaded. if you can post a site or somethiing? thanks. i still havent solved my issue . (wish a had a proffesional at my house to do this.) lol.
