Is it possible to create an iBooks widget that lets you embed a live video chat feature on the page of an iBook?

I want to create a widget that allows a reader to chat via a video link directly from a page within an iBook. This would either be a set feed to the author or a feed to another device that the reader wishes to connect to, allowing two readers of the same iBook to video chat. The later would require some web based app to handle selecting which reader/device you wish to connect to for the video chat.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
