Encountering Numerous Kernel Panics Daily Following SL Upgrade

Seeking assistance with recent onslaught of kernel panics, numerous daily, following a recent upgrade to SL 10..6.8.

The Panics are ALWAYS Internet-related. I believe all have occurred while playing browser games. Primary culprit being a game called Starland Multiplayer Tower Defense, housed on nonoba.com. Though I have also had problems with ::whispers:: Castleville which I play on Facebook or Zynga.com.

I have both Safari (V5.0.5) and Firefox V14.0.1) installed. I use Safari. Have Firefox available only as backup.

Only other thing I can think of is that Ive been in an ongoing quandry trying to ascertain which versions of Flash Player and Java (and all its associated products?) I should be running, which ones I have if any but mostly why the heck I literally have dozens of file folders for Java, Java Visual, JRE, Java Preferences, Java webStart, Java 3D, Java You Name it ... 74 folders in all ... lord knows its every version under the sun!

Most likely culprit is

boot into safe mode and see if the KPs continue. Alernatively, disable it and see if the KPs continue.
