What happened:

  1. changed my apple id password several times in a row (always forgot the super strong password I added)
  2. when I log-in in iTunes app -> everything OK with new password
  3. when I log-in in icloud.com -> everything OK with new password
  4. only in system preferences it will not allow the new password for icloud -> it spins indefinitely the ball
  5. so it does not work for all icloud related stuff (i.e. calendar / mail)
  6. Tried to enter new password, and the same happens -> itunes OK / icloud.com OK / iCloud on Mac -> not OKicloud_password.png

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
