is it safe to buy a macbook charger from amazon?

i have an old school white macbook... and the charger just bit the dust 😟

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

I've bought 4 power adapters off of eBay and never had a problem with any of them.

You can get a new third party 60W power adapter on eBay for under $20.

thank you! i think i will try ebay 🙂 my mom bought one a long time ago that ended up sparking when she used it... that is why i am hesitant. i am sure they are better regulated now 🙂 thanks again

I bought a USED one from an Amazon third party seller and it stopped working after only a few days. I agree you'll be fine with new one. I got an OEM one on Amazon for a little less than what Apple charges and it's been perfect.
