No, not as a standard. But you will be able to subscribe to holiday calendars etc. Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to add these calendars from an iOS device, you have to use a Mac.

Thank you for the swift reply and advice about the how-to via my Mac, but no Jewish Holiday calendar (ics) found at the url you suggested. What I've read about past calendars not developed by Apple is not such good news: dupicate events and other snafus.
I also subscribed to a few calendars and never had a problem. If something went wrong, I just deleted the corresponding subscribed calendar

Wonder why not when they have many many other nationalities/religious calendars and for such a common one... hmmm. I was just looking for that one today actually and noticed Apple has several others ...
