It is not putting on despite 50% power being there. Means when I stopped checking my mail and switced it to idle mode, the when I tried to put it on it is not coming on.

I was working on my iPhone 4S and then stoppehhd it (Not Swithed Off). At this time 50% power indication was there. After a few seconds when I tried to connect it to power source for charging, it is neither charging nor coming LIVE. Means I am not able to use my phone at all.

What to do? Tried to connect to LapTop USB Port but it does not even show sign of connection.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons.

If still nothing, connect to power with USB cable, Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, this can take about 20 seconds of holding both buttons on charger.
