Use Powerbook G4 as external hard drive

I just got a new iMac and want to use my Powerbook G4 as an external hard drive. How do I do that?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011)

Connect them with a FireWire cable and start the PowerBook up with the T key held down.

Other than Target Disk Mode I'm not sure.
