My 15inch Powerbook G4 will only work on charge

Hey, my mate gave me his Powerbook G4 as he bought a new mac,

It works, but only when its plugged into the AC, and i dont have a charger lol (it caught fire at his house :S)

The battery shows that it has 3 L.E.Ds that light up... But it wont start...

I have opened it up and removed the motherboard to see if any connections had come unplugged, but nothing looks disconnected.

If anyone (in Whangaparaoa, Auckland, New Zealand) has a spare charger or battery to see whats the problem that would be much appreciated 😉
