"The iPhone/iPod touch '[device name]' cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found." <<<---Still happening!?

I went through all of the steps and I STILL get the same old message...


"The iPhone/iPod touch '[device name]' cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found."


I just want to get pictures from my iPhoto (Mac) to my iPad 3 (iOS iPhoto).


Please help!

Actually, I should looked to see what site brought you here since it is in the upper left corner of this page, but I just missed it so that's my bad and - I apologize.


As simple and basic as this sounds, did you try quitting iTunes, reboot the Mac, reboot the iPad and then try again? Have you taken that approach?


So then the iPad and the Mac are running the latest relevant software - iOS 5.1. On the iPad and the latest version of iTunes on the Mac - I think it's 10.6.3 ?


Have you tried removing all of the photos on the iPad (if there are any at all) and start with just one album or event? Or try to sync photos from another folder - not iPhoto - just to test to see if the issue is something in iPhoto?
