Ejecting a hard drive ejects keyboard/mouse

Whenever i try to eject my external HDD i get two options, eject internal keyboard/trackpad drive name is my hard drive, and eject facetime camera. Why cant i get it so my hard drive is a seprate item?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion, Bootcamp, Windows 7

Hi Danny - Did you manage to find a fix for this? I have a machine with the same fault and I cant seem to find a solution.

All I ended up doing to fix it is update drivers through bootcamp assistant on Mac side
