How do I make a repair appointment at the apple store in Orlando?

Thanks to their automated phone system it is nearly impossible to make an appointment over the phone. If your phone works for Internet, download the apple store app, and use that to book an appointment. Otherwise it can be done from this website. I love the Geniuses at Florida Mall, but Mellinia or Altamonte may be closer to you.

I tried downloading the Apple Store App to do exactly the same thing from my iPhone 3G, however, the current Apple Store App (v 2.3) no longer will work with iOS4.2, and my phone won't install iOS5.

Apparently the iOS 4.2 compatible version of the Apple Store App is no longer available, or is it?

Seems kind of dumb to stop supporting software necessary to support your own products and services ... I'm not looking for a mind-blowing iOS multimedia experience, just software to make a simple appointment that more primitive devices and software should be able to support.
