Q: I am able to get documents in the cloud to work fine with Pages and Number, but Keynote is a whole different story.
I have Mountain Lion, and I just purchased iWork from the app store and updated all of my iOS iWork apps. Documents in the cloud works beautifully with Pages and Numbers, but I am having a lot of trouble with Keynote. Here are things that are happening . . .
If I create a Keynote presentation on my iMac, I can save it to the cloud. However, if I try to open that file again, I get an error message that the document cannot be opened. However, I *can* open the document on my iPhone or my MacBook Pro (from late 2007). I can even go to icloud.com, download the document, and then open it on the iMac.
If I create a presentation on my iPad, I can then open and edit it on my iPhone. However, the changes don't sync with the iPad. The document doesn't show up at all on my iMac. However, it shows up and works fine on my MacBook.
None of my presentations created on other devices show up on my iPad (first generation).
I know that my Internet connection was working, and I have tried deleting and reinstalling Keynote on both the iPad and the iMac. I made sure to enable iCloud on the iPad application when I installed it again, and the Keynote iMac version pretty much shows me iCloud right away.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
