Safari is not showing full URL - Suggestions?

FYI, your screen shots are not displaying correctly (at least here in Safari).

I have the same problem... i don't know what i made or what happened but i dont find this "feature" or "bug" a good one...

Here i make two screenshots explaining the problem.

1. http://cl.ly/image/1B3Q3z3H2643 -> Its shows only the main domain and not the full URL

2. http://cl.ly/image/40213q1z3i40 -> When i select or click in the bar it shows the Full URL..

I only want to make sure that the full URL is always shown...

Any idea what happen? Is this a feature of Mountain Lion and Safari 6.0 that i notice too late or have i change an option?

Same here, very annoying. Clicking on the address bar shows the URL or going into Full screen mode. I guess it's a bug. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Strange, my Safari started doing this just yesterday. It has been showing full URLs up to now. Why it has suddenly stopped is a mystery to me, I haven't made any updates or changed any settings.

Whoops, now it's back to normal. What's this, is my computer remotely controlled or what? Apple, are you reading this? (For a change.)

This just started happening to me today. Augh!

Disturbingly enough, restarting my machine fixed the problem.

I had this happen too. Went up to Safari>Preferences>Advanced and clicked on the "show full web address" box. Seems to work now!

Once again, "design" (meaning good looks) has been allowed to override usability. The URL is centered in its field. If I wish to modify the URL, for instance change something after the top domain, I can't do it in one click. I first have to click once to make the URL left-aligned, then I can modify it. Why, Apple, why?
