Q: Apple TV/Airplay - not seeing the devices using WiFi network
Dear Apple,
Please try to learn your own products like AirPlay and Apple TV.
The TCP/UDP ports, MAC filters and other usless things doeasn't matter to the problem of seeing the Apple TV using bonjour service in WiFi network.
The MAIN things that is needed to Apple TV / Airplay works on WiFi networks is to ENABLE and CONFIGURE the IGMP on WiFi router/controller.
Ports doeasnt't matter. Most of these devices is in the same subnet.
Routers and Wifi Controllers by default block the IGMP broadcast.
Bonjour protocol doeasn't use the ports to work but IGMP protocol and IGMP broadcast.
Firewall settings are not important.
Please learn something about your own products and put this crucial information in your manuals.
Without this info Apple looks like some lamers who doesn't know how their own products working
