Which software are you looking to update? (If we can't get the ASU issue sorted, we might be able to at least work around the issue and get the software updated.)

Doublechecking ... are the iCloud control panel and the QuickTime Player currently installed on the PC?

(Best we get one possible cause of them not appearing in ASU off the table ... if they're installed and current, you wouldn't see them. There hasn't been an update for anything else major in a couple of months.)

Yeah, that sounds plausible ... although the main pulse of reports of that issue was about a month or so ago.

It does seem to come right for some folks after a while. Unfortunately, "a while" is a flexible unit of time ...

Apple software updated did not work for a few months durning the summer.  It started working in the middle of July and just recently (last week or this week) stopped working again.  Wonder how long it will take to get it fixed this time.
