ipod classic 160 gig not playing 5 ish song but they play on all other devices
my ipod classic 160 gig isnt playing around 5 new songs i put on it but they play on my iphone 4, ipad 1, and on my laptop.

iPod Classic has some limitation, in playing some new high quality music format, which is ok for the IOS devices.
select the song and click GetInfo
Most likely it is the bitrate and/or sample rates, in iTunes you can select the songs and convert them to iPod versions.
