How to I get rid of an update on an app?

I just installed the new version of an instagram app, and I don't like it at all! How do I revert back to the other version???

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

Only if you have retained a previous version like on your computer in a computer backup. In that case delete the current version from both the iPod and iTunes and copy it to iTunes and sync.

What about if I didn't have icloud backup on? Will it still work like what you said?

If you do not have a copy of the old version saved on your computer, then you cannot revert.

No. The apps themselves are not in the iPod iCloud backup or iTunes backup of the iPod. If you restore from the iCloud backup, the currently available app will be installed.
