Do you mean to carry it around with you?? Sure it will be fine.. but you cannot change the region from say USA to France.. most bands are the same or nearly so.. but watch you don't use something illegal there. 2.4ghz is fine.. the US is more restrictive than Europe but 5ghz is a bit more spotty.
I will be living in the Midi and need to use my time-capsule while working there. I'm not sure what you mean by not changing my region? Could you clarify? Thanks!!!
Nobody ever checked what WiFi equipment I brought and bring into F, nobody ever checks what I use in the home either, I never changed any setting in the WiFi Routers and everything works fine (I am in F regularly).
To be sure: all the WiFi equipment I bought in F directly has channels 1 to 13 in the 2.4GHz Radio Band.

As advice to people.. .. It cannot be illegal because no body stopped me doing it.. hmm may not cut it.. !!
As for 2.4ghz that is generally fine.. although there are different power transmission limits..
Certainly for 5ghz there are markedly different bands around the world.

And you can be transmitting on something you shouldn't without even being aware of it.
