Screen Bezel Warping?

Screen Bezel Warping?

At the bottom of my screen, where it says MacBook Pro, the metal bezel is apart from the screen. It curves outward and you can see (a little) light through the gap.

Anyone else have this problem? I'll be stopping by the Mac Genius later today.

My bezel is about 1/4 mm apart from the screen on the bottom, it's barely noticeable. I wouldn't say it "curves outward" on mine, it's just a very, very small gap. How big is the gap on your MBP, approximately?

i would say that mine is nearly a 1mm gap. Can you see light in your gap?

No, I see no light coming through at all. Just a reflection of light from the screen on the edge of the bezel.

Went to see the Mac Genius at my local Apple Store. He said that it wasn't bad enough to require an exchange or service, so he just gave me a case number and sent me on my way. I mentioned whining sound, he just shook his head and smiled.
I guess I will just cross my fingers and enjoy my beautiful MacBook Pro. (whine, heat, warping and all!)
