What do I do? Cannot Get Mail The user name or password for "imap.gmail.com" is incorrect

I recently changed my password with gmail, and have had this issue since. I have double and quadruple checked password, and followed all troubleshooting instructions. I have also went thru restoring my iphone. Any thing else I need to try?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

This is a Gmail problem, not only with iOS devices but with mobile devices running their mobile OS.

Contact Google customer/technical support.

After many hours of trying to reconcile this, I found the solution! I had turned on 2-step verificiation for my GMAIL. Once that once off, works again. Thanks.
