My iPhone 4 is getting VERY hot during normal use, especially around the camera lens. What is causing this?

I turned the phone off to let it cool down and when I turned it on about 15-20 minutes later it was hot, not warm, within 1 minute.

I have had the phone for more than a year so I am pretty sure that the warrenty is up.
