Drive Genius 3 USB Flash Drive

Howdy!

I just bought Drive Genius 3, and I have 2 questions.

I'm a local IT guy for my family and friends, so I will probably be running Drive Genius on a plethora of computers (Not simultaneously), so I want to make sure that if I register it (IE, input the license number) it won't be locked to the computer on which I license it. will it?

Question 2:

Another thing that I've read that people do is installing it on a bootable flash drive. while I could do this, it would be rather annoying if every time I wanted to run the software on a family members computer, I had to reboot it. Is it possible to install it on a flash drive without an OS on it?

Thanks awesome apple support community!

1. It's not locked to a computer, but you have to re-enter the license code on each computer. Note that using the software on more than one computer at a time violates the license agreement.

2. Ideally software such as Drive Genius should be run on its own bootable disc or flash drive.

I've owned Drive Genius for several years now. I hardly have any need to run it, so I find it odd that you think you need to use it a lot.
