do apple offer a payment plan for repairs or do you have to pay the full amount up front

just wondering if apple offer a payment plan for repairs or do you have to pay the full amount up front,. i took out insurance from protect your bubble but only read the reviews after i made my claim yesterday to see that all the feedback about claims were all bad. i do not want to waste my time or money with these would rather cancel my policy and pay for a repair from apple.
