If you go to About This Mac, More Info, is your serial number not being shown? How about in the System Report?
Clinton
At about this mac: Serialnumber System Serial#
At System Report: Serialnumber Not Available
Edit:
Yeah i can find the Serial on my Device (barcode) but iCloud do not let me in because it can not authenticate my Mac...
was your logicboard replaced? serial number disappears on some Macbook if you had your logicboard replaced..
Has your Logic Board been replaced? I've seen this before when a Logic Board has been replaced & the SN has not been flashed.
Dunno, because i bought this MacBook private. I am already in contact with the seller....
I also tried:
ioreg -l | awk -F\" ' /IOPlatformSerialNumber/ {print $4} '
but same:
System Serial#
verify from the seller - this issue happens when your macbook was taken in for a logicboard replacement...
or, you can take it to Apple and have them sort it out for you.....You might have to pay a couple of $$....
