Q: iTunes cannot see my Aperture library but Previews is set to Always. What else can be done?

I just got my new MacbookPro with Retina display

Aperture 3, OS X Mountain Lion, iTune 10.6.3 and Apple TV2

Q: iTunes cannot see my Aperture library but Previews is set to Always. What else can be done?

    Sometimes it helps to switch between libraries: In Aperture select "File > Switch to Library > Other/New" and select the new library, then swich back to your main library and quit Aperture to force it to write the preferences.

     

    If that does not help, work through the Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics, till you can see the library in iTunes.

    1. Repair the Permissions for your Aperture Library
    2. Repair your Aperture Library
    3. Remove the Aperture Preferences from your User library to the Desktop.
    4. Backup your Aperture library and rebuild the library.
