My at&t iphone 4s is relatively new and has been working completely fine up until yesterday. It can send/receive texts fine and can receive picture messages fine, but as of yesterday can not send picture messages. Is anyone also having this probably and/or know how to help?

Thanks!!!

whodey 99, I went and talked to AT&T yesterday and they couldn't help me either! I'm planning to go to the apple store on monday, they couldn't help at all either?

And I tried calling the apple store yesterday and they tried getting me to pay to have them help me...I think that's crazy, I don't even know how it's possible that this even happened!

I actually looked at that webpage last night when I was googling how to fix my phone, but the thing is my phone is completely up to date, I have unlimited data on everything, the button cellular data is on, sms/mms messaging is on, and I've reset my network at least 5 times now with no luck. Do you think going through restoring my phone will work?

If you still can't send or receive MMS messages

  1. To send and receive MMS messages on your iPhone, verify that your wireless carrier supports MMS2.
  2. Ensure that MMS Messaging is turned on in Settings > Messages.
  3. Verify that your phone is able to access cellular data.
    • Some carriers allow you to edit your APN (Access Point Name), which may prevent MMS from working.
    • If you are roaming outside your calling area, make sure you have Data Roaming turned on in Settings > General > Network to send or receive MMS content.
    • While on a phone call, you will be unable to send or receive MMS messages when using an EDGE, GPRS, or any CDMA cellular data network. After the phone call ends, you will receive any incoming messages. If you tried to send an MMS message, you may need to send it again.
  4. If the issue persists and your wireless carrier has confirmed that your wireless account is provisioned2 for MMS, restore the iPhone.
