Does "find my iphone" work on 1st gen. iphone

Question

Does "find my iphone" work on 1st gen. iphone

I have a first gen. iphone that had "find my iphone" installed and it will work to find my other iphone,ipad, etc. but I can't get it to work for this one. Is it not compatible?

iPhone 3G, iOS 3.1.3

Make sure you followed everything mentioned on this site...

Also, the app needs an iPhone with iOS 3.1.3.

I do have os 3.1.3 but Icloud does not show up in settings?? what am I missing?

The iphone 3G is not compatible with icloud, hence it can not be tracked using Find My iPhone.

iCloud requires iOS 5 on iPhone 3GS or later.
