Personal Hotspot

Can anybody kindly tell me why I do not have a Personal Hotspot button on my new generation iPad. My service provider assured me they support hotspot on devices. My Samsung Galaxy 7 (which I owned earlier) supports hotspot without me having to approach the service provider. Thanks for allowing me to encroach on your time.

Thank you AnaMusic, for your time. The basic issue of not having the hotspot button on my iPad was not addressed. I wish I could attach screen shots to show the absence of this button on my pad. The article on this issue did not touch on the issue of the service provider permitting the service but the IPad not having the Personal Hotspot button. Any suggestion?
