Adding text to all master pages in a theme

I am trying to add the words confidential and a page number to all my master pages in a theme. I can find were I can update one slide at a time, but is there a way to getting all the master slide to update with a single action or do you have to modifiy each single master slide.

You have to make the changes to all the master slides in your presentation individually. Add "confidential" to any master slide, copy the text object, and paste it on all the other masters. To add the slide numbers, you'll have to use the Slide Inspector on every master, but it shouldn't take long.
