Screen goes black after trying to install windows 7

Hi,

I'm trying to use bootcamp to install windows 7 on my 2011 MBP running Snow Leopard.

I have gone up to where I can install Windows 7, but when my computer restarts, I get the dreaded message "No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key."

I tried pressing option and starting, but it only gave me the option of starting up my Macintosh HD, which is very confusing because in my finder, it says clearly that I have partitioned my hard drive.

I need it for architecture work, so I have partitioned my Mac HD and given 70 GBs to Bootcamp. I don't think there should be any problems with the installer (that's what it is in the picture, right?).

I am on my MBP so I am using the internal CD/DVD drive, touchpad, and keyboard.

Any suggestions on what I can do so that my computer will realize that it has the partition on startup?

I have already tried repartitioning.

Thank you!
