I cant turn photostream on in iCloud all other items are on but the iphoto section is greyed out with a learn more box alongside, when I click this it takes me to store and upgrade, but there are none available, i have mountain lion and iphoto 9.1.1

To use iPhoto with the Photo Stream. you need iPhoto 9.2 or later; have you seen this support article on upgrading: iPhoto and Aperture: Using Photo Stream http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4906 ?


How did you install iPhoto? Did it come preinstalled on your Mac? Then you need to accept the iLife apps in the App Store to your Apple ID before you can upgrade them. If you bought the boxed version, you need to upgrade using "Software Update".
