In addition to supporting digital cameras and SD cards, you can also import photos and videos from your iPhone*, iPod touch, and iPod nano (5th generation) using the Camera Connector.
There are also apps such as Simple Transfer which can be used to copy photos and videos between iOS devices (and/or your computer) via your wifi network.
Or you can copy them to your computer (photos and videos to computer) and sync them.
