Windows 64 bit or 32 bit. Macbook Pro (Mid2012) Edition

I just recently purchased my macbook Pro 13in. I want to use boot camp to install windows 7. I have a MacBook Pro (Mid2012) edition. How do I know if I can use a 64 bit or 32 bit edition of windows. Also do I need the full software or can I buy upgrade software.

Anything today is 64-bit. ML is also 64-bit kernel. It was only pre-2010 models where there was an issue and between 2008 thru 2009 as Mac transitioned to a full 64-bit firmware.

No on the upgrade. Yes on "System Builder" edition (like Home Premium 64-bit SP1 $99).

In October Windows 8 hits stores $39 and you can get a taste using the Preview or the 90-day Enterprise that is the Releast version but expires - so you could go free and then $39 later.
