Q: Wi fi connection to my Lexmark X4690

I've installed my old Lexmark X4690 printer on my new MacBook Pro. I don't have the original software for the printer so I've downloaded it. I can print via the cable so the printer is recognised but I can't get it to print wi fi. I have a Virgin Media Super hub which still works wirelessly on my old windows notebook.

Anyone got a few minutes to talk an idiot on these matters through the process

If the printer is already connected to your network, you just need to add a network print queue in your Mac. Just follow the steps in this article: http://bit.ly/OwVRNW

If the printer isn't connected to your network yet, run the installer again and choose the option to connect your printer to your network.
