i pod touch
having trouble syncing touch to i tunes. its asking for restrictions passcode. what is this?

It is the passcode that is used to prevent other people from changing the Restrictions settings>
iOS: Understanding Restrictions
If you forgot it/do not know it, you will have to either restore the iPod from a backup with out the Restrictions passode or restore to factory settings/new iPod.
Some users have reported that a Restrictions passcode suddenly appeared.
