Ram Sticker (Should I remove it?) (and BONUS dumb question!)
This is probably a dumb question, but I just upgraded my Intel iMac to 2 g myself with some OTW ram, and everything is working sweet ...
... but I noticed there were little stickers on the ram, and feel kind of weird about leaving them on inside the computer. (The reason I didn't take them off was because the stickers said WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED, so I'm guessing obviously it's okay to leave them on, but wanted to ask you super-smart folk to be sure. In other words, ram sticks don't get hot or whatever, and the little stickers won't mess up my comp somehow ...? Just checking ...)
Also: BONUS question -- I removed the 512 RAM stick to make room for the 2 gig -- is this something I could sell, like say on ebay, or is it not usable for other comps?
Anyway, thanks for listening ...!
