PCB Design to output Gerber files

I wish to use my MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard software) to take a simple circuit schematic, capture this and output a file that a prototype PCB company can generate a double sided PC board with holes drilled in. I believe that most PCB protype companies want to see a Gerber type file set.


Can anyone suggest a suitable software to do what I want using the Mac Book Pro?

There are several solutions. I prefer DesignWorks by Capilano for schematics. Osmond is inexpensive and capable for PCB layouts. I have a list of OS X schematic tools on my web site at:
