Best way to compress video file?

Hi all.

I have a 4GB movie file in quicktime, which I need to compress to at least 1020MB or under.

Simply, what would be the best way to do this whilst not losing too much quality on the video file?

Thanks.

If you would like to save yourself the intricacies of Quicktime, have a look at the Clipchamp.com online video conversion service. It works as easy as opening http://clipchamp.com in a Web browser (preferably Chrome for best performance, but Firefox and Safari work as well). There you can choose among a number of target devices and output resolutions.

Best of all: you neither need to install anything nor does clipchamp.com upload your video to a remote server. That's right, video conversion/compression happens directly within the browser, which is fast, convenient, and avoids any privacy issues - enjoy!
