Can't log in to my apple ID when in the Apple Store

I've got several family members devices at any given time, logged into the same apple ID, so that we can share audio books, and have synced cloud calendars, etc. However this one Macbook, will not allow me to log into the Apple Store so that I can put her school audiobook on it. I keep getting this error message: an unknown error 11556

Can anyone help me with this?
