Just purchased an M-Audio Oxygen 61 to use with Logic. I created an external MIDI track and the Oxygen 61 is present in my library. How do I get it to playback sound? I can record with it but do not hear anything prior to recording or during playback. It records fine, but again, I can't hear anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Figured it out. I needed to create an audio track instead of an external MIDI track.
Should have probably experimented with it a little bit and then posted. . .sorry.😊
What you created is a "software instrument" track, an Audio track is used to record an external audio source, voice, guitar..etc.

Glad it's working for you- Did you purchase a sustain pedal yet? hmmm... if you're not a piano player it may not make much of a difference right now.
Funny you should ask. . .the guy at the store tried to sell me one. I will be taking elementary piano lessons at my local junior college starting in about a week. So I guess I should get one.
Do yourself a favor and get one the looks/works like a piano sustain pedal, not one that's a flat, square switch, especially if you're going to be taking piano lessons.
